YEIDA (Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority) is developing area near 164 KM long Express Way starting from Greater Noida to Agra along Yamuna river on the eastern side of it.

The project of expressway is being executed by the reputed builder Jaypee Infratech Ltd. and it is expected to be completed and operational by April 2012.

YAMUNA EXPRESSWAY INDUSTRIAL DEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY earlier also known as TAJ EXPRESSWAY is constituted by Government of Uttar Pradesh for Industrial and Urban Development in the region. The idea is based not only to provide fast moving corridor to reduce the travelling time betwen New Delhi & Agra but also to provide proper enviornment and resources in the region to ensure the development of Tourism Industry, Entertainment & Liesure and Knowledge based Industry.

YEIDA is also developing residential and industrial townships all along this expressway.  It will also have a Night Safari in addition to the Formula One track developed by the Jaypee Infratech Ltd. A long industrial corridor is also being planned and built by the UP Government on both side of Yamuna Expressway. There will be 5 small residential township being built by Jaypee on both side of Yamuna Expressway from Noida to Agra.

YEIDA has launched residential plots scheme in 2009 in Sectors 18 and 20 of YEIDA City which has plots of 300, 500, 1000, 2000 and 4000 sq meters @ Rs.4750/-.  The payment plans was to deposited 50% to Authority. Balance payment is payable in 16 half yearly installments with interest @ 12% per annum. There are around 21000 residential plots.
