Kisan Kota plots in Yamuna Expressway Authority

The Kisan Kota plots are also known as 7% abadi plots because these plots are allotted to the Kisan (farmers) for their land acquired by the Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority for development of the region .

The Kisan have the Kota of getting residential land in a developed sector along with the monetary compensation provided to them by the Authority in their bank account.

Kota means the reserve land that is to be given to the original habitant of the region in a developed area for their land being acquired and providing them same facilities as to the plot that are allotted through the scheme of the authority.

Like if 100 Meters land of a Kisan is acquired then the Kisan in his Kota of 7% will get 7 meters plot in a abadi area (developed area).This depends on the terms and conditions of the Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority.

In some locations only money is given for the land acquired and in other locations developed plot in abadi area also known as 7% abadi plots in Yamuna Expressway Authority and Kisan Kota plots in Yamuna Expressway Authority and money is given in the bank account of the Kisan (land owner).

AS OF 7TH AUGUST 2021 ,the development work of more than 70% residential sectors are complete in residential sectors Sector-18 and Sector-20,Sector-22E is complete and in rest of the areas the tenders are released by the Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority for the remaining development related work.

Underground wiring is being laid for the plots in residential sectors,drainage and sewage work is also being done .
